Life Vision
We have already mentioned microfinance on this site… it is becoming an essential part of the ‘charitable giving’ scene. Add training in business methods and entrepreneurialism – as well as assistance with boosting self-esteem and creating a life vision – and you have a potent mix.
That’s what Global LifeVision (a subsidiary of Ideal LifeVision) will be doing with its Humanitarian Mission to Kenya this year.
In a Press Release issued today by founder Ann Webb, Global LifeVision announces that a team of 30 trainers will leave for Africa at the end of April, to bring the LifeVision process to more than 1500 women who are currently building businesses using micro-loans. The organisation recently completed a very successful programme of this sort in New Delhi, India, where 700 teenage girls were introduced to tactical goal setting tools and helped to increase their self-esteem. Similar expeditions to Singapore, Hong Kong, India and New Zealand are also planned for later in the year.
Whether you are interested in generosity, charity and philanthropy, or just in goal-setting and creating an ideal life vision for yourself, this is definitely one to watch!
