Be inspired

Although this website is primarily about generosity – philanthropy, charity and altruism – I often come across items that I personally find moving, or inspiring, and that I feel I’d like to share with others. So I have created this page especially for that purpose. I won’t necessarily be posting material here on a very regular basis, but here’s some to begin with – come back again from time to time, to see if more has been added.

The first item is a video from YouTube, featuring a remarkable young man called Nick Vujicic. What he says and does is, of itself, very moving (well, I think so, anyway); but what really hit home for me was the obvious impact that he had on some members of his young audience – who can tell the possible lifelong effects of his message on these impressionable members of the new generation. And then to cap this – towards the end, his equally heart-stopping effect on tough prison inmates. Well worth watching for the full 7 (and a bit) minutes!
