“Contrary to popular (especially media) opinion, teenagers and children these days are not all self-centred, violent, even drink- or drug-crazed hooligans. Many are setting an example to the older generation with their passion for helping others and leaving their world a better place than they found it.” (From the report “Young Philanthropists”, published by Generosity News.)
As a Trustee of the Chreda Foundation I have a special interest in young people, who I believe “have the tools and passion to become future leaders”, and while many of my blog posts relate to this subject area (see “Young people”, under Categories, below right) I feel that it merits its own section of the website. So I have created this ‘Youth’ page, where I hope to focus specifically on selfless young people and their charitable activities.
And where better to start, than with our report, “Young Philanthropists”, which we published at the beginning of June 2012 – click on the image below, to download a FREE copy:
The Chreda Foundation, mentioned above, is an important part of my life, and has heavily influenced the setting up of this website. You can read more about it here.
